Words Don’t Teach

     Have you ever tried to explain a situation to someone, only to see that they just don’t get it? But then they actually experienced whatever it was you were talking about, and now they understand what you meant. You see, words don’t teach, only life experience does. It’s like trying to describe the color red to a blind person. They might get an idea about what you are talking about, but they will never truly know what red looks like. 

     You know, we really do have an inner being which also has an inner being and so on and so forth. Let’s just say that there are many, many beings looking after us. The trick is to be aware of the help that you’re receiving. I’ll give you a few examples of times when I absolutely felt the presence of my inner being by the help I received. 

     Two very recent incidents happened within a few days of each other. It was approximately eight am, and I was headed to work. There has been road work happening on this particular part of my route for a while, and there was only one lane open until we got to the traffic light, where it opens up to three lanes. I don’t usually move to the right lanes because I will eventually be turning left. But on this day, for some reason I quickly moved to the middle lane and stopped at the red light. Then suddenly the car behind me flew through the red light at full speed. He didn’t even notice that he did it. Then it made sense to me why I moved over so rapidly. And it just so happened that my roommate was behind that guy and he saw the whole thing. We both pulled up to the next light together and rolled down our windows, and said in unison, “Universe”.

     Then a few days later I was at a red light, and when it turned green my car hesitated for a second. Then I saw why. A lady ran the red light in front of me. She didn’t even look like she knew she did it. But my inner being knew. There have been so many times that I felt the presence of help from above. The trick is to recognize that that is what’s happening. 

     Those things might seem like coincidence to you, but I know that I am always taken care of. I know that well being abounds. I know that I am a spiritual being having a human experience. I also know that I’ll never get it done, and I know that I can’t get it wrong. Life is just one continuous experience after another. It’s up to us to find the silver linings. We all have a right to our own perspectives. We can choose to see why whatever happens is a positive thing or not. Remember, where focus goes, energy flows. When we see the good in our experiences, more good experiences can come. 

     This is why I say words don’t teach. I can tell you story after story about how I know that I am always taken care of. But until you start realizing that the Universe is always bringing you whatever it is you are focused upon, and except that you are creating your own reality, you will only be creating by default. You are letting outside circumstances create for you, instead of figuring out what really floats your boat. You see, you are the only one that knows what makes you happy. And so as far as I’m concerned, it is each and every one of our rights, or dare I say our duty, to make ourselves as happy as possible. And that is how we all live happily ever after. 

     Remember, a belief is just a thought you keep thinking. So if you want to live your dream life please believe that you are a worthy person who deserves to live a wonderful life. Please believe that you can be, do or have anything your heart desires. There is room enough for everyone. There are no limits to anything, and most of all, there is nothing serious going on here. 

     So what’s the gist of this message? It’s to be aware of what is happening in your life, so that you can create the life you choose. Be the best you, no matter what or who that may be. It’s all good. And one more thing, remember there is always great love for you here.

Law of Attraction is Your Best Friend

     Have you ever thought about how things manifest? Have you ever thought about something you wanted and then suddenly it showed up like magic? Well, that is because you had no resistance to the idea of whatever it was you desired. You see, the Universe is like a giant magnet, and so are you. This is what is known as the Law of Attraction. It is the only law that really counts. And when you learn to work in concert with this law, your life will be as magical as you allow it to be. I’m not kidding. The trick is to keep yourself on the positive end of the spectrum. Think of a long stick, with what you want is on one end, and the absence of what you want is on the other end. And there are all sorts of situations in between. And what comes to you is what end of the stick you mostly focus on, or anything in between. Remember, where focus goes, energy flows. 

     So, why am I telling you about the Law of Attraction?  Because it’s the only way to live the life you’ve always dreamed of. When you start giving yourself permission to have what you really want, you will be happier than you can imagine. And being happy is the only way to truly live. And you can’t wait for someone or something to make you happy, you must choose to be happy. That’s when everything will start flowing in a very positive direction.

     Now, you’re probably asking yourself, “How do I make myself happy?” Well, it’s simple, but it’s hard as well. The simple part is knowing that being happy is the only way to be your authentic self. The hard part is changing all the old habits and beliefs that don’t serve you anymore. It takes a lot of practice to start seeing things in a new light. But as long as you have a mind, you can do it. You are the boss of yourself, and that’s the truth. Whether you choose to believe it is up to you.

     So, how do you change a habit or belief that no longer works for you. Well it may surprise you to know that you can’t just stop thinking the way you’ve been thinking. Because when you are trying NOT to think about whatever it is, that’s all you’ll think about. The trick is to change your thoughts to things that do please you. When you find yourself going back to the old habits and beliefs you stop and remind yourself that you don’t have to think that thought anymore. Then you look for a thought that feels better. You see, the Universe never hears “NO”. Whatever you focus on is what comes to you. If you say, “Yes I want that thing”, the Universe says, “Okay”. And when you say, “NO I do not want that”, the Universe says, “Oh you’re focused on that so here’s some more”. Get it? One thing that helps is to write a list of positive things to think about. It could be about something that has happened or something that you want to happen, as long as it is a pleasing thought. One thing that I like to think about is the mansion that I want. As Abraham-Hicks says, “It’s as easy to create a castle as it is a button, it’s all the same process. But the trick is to only think about it for as long as it feels good. But if it starts to get all balled up, wondering where it is and who is going to bring it, or how will I get the money to pay for it or how long will it take to get here, I stop daydreaming about it. That just slows everything down. I only daydream as long as it feels good to me. I hope this is making sense to you. What the gist of this blog is about is staying happy as much as possible and knowing what you want so that the Universe and the Law of Attraction can work with you to bring you anything that your heart desires. That’s why I say that the Law of Attraction is your best friend. Because it always shows you what you are thinking and how you are feeling by what is coming to you. Remember, the Universe is going to comply with your thoughts whether they are good or bad. If bad things are happening you have to believe that you are a part of the mix. And also remember that where focus goes, energy flows. I keep saying that because it’s true. So don’t you want to pay attention to where your thoughts are leading you? Once you start seeing the correlation between your thoughts and what is going on in your life, you will be better equipped to create the life you choose. And what better way to show yourself love than to think the thoughts that make you happy?

Boomerang

     I would say that most people know how a boomerang works. You throw it out into the air and it circles back around to you. I know it’s probably more detailed than that, but that’s the gist. And if you think about it, the Universe shows us this behavior in other ways as well. One way is our thoughts. What you think about comes back to you. If you think you can you will succeed, and the same goes for if you think you can’t. Whatever it is you are thinking about, you are manifesting, BOOMERANG! This kind of manifesting is non-resistant thought, like when you are expecting something to occur with no doubt in your mind, whether it’s good or bad. Are you following so far? If not, re-read the previous lines again, because this next part is going to be a little more confusing. But I’ll make it as clear as possible. 

     Okay, here it goes. I have been practicing everyday to keep myself in as good a mood as possible, and having as much fun as I can. I have been letting worry, fear, hate and all other negative points of view go bye-bye, once and for all. Those emotions are a waste of time and serve no good purpose what-so-ever. Now, this is no easy task at the beginning, but as I kept reminding myself that my new job is to keep myself knowing that all is well, no matter what is going on around me. I realize that I have no control of the outer world, and that’s a good thing. Just think about how hard it would be to take care of everything and everyone, like making sure the sun comes up everyday and that our planets stay in their orbit. You would lose your mind. And I also realize that I have no control over my natural body functions, like breathing and blood circulating through me. But the one thing I do have under my control is my emotions. When something seemingly bad happens, I have the right to believe that everything is always working out for me. I have the right not to worry. I have the right to know that there is nothing going wrong. And here’s something really crazy to think about. I know that there is nothing serious going on here. NOW is the time to STOP worrying, and START enjoying. Surrender into who you really are. Stop complaining and start putting out good vibes. Love for the sake of loving. Appreciate everything and everyone. When you send out love and appreciation, you get it back in droves. Yes, just like a boomerang. That’s when you’ll know how loved you really are, because by loving freely you are actually loving yourself. And self-love is the most important love. Be aware of everything you think and say, because like attracts like. What you put out, you will get back, good or bad. 

     It’s time to truly know yourself. You are a spiritual being having a human experience. You are pure energy, and energy can not be created or destroyed. It just changes form. So since we are all spiritual energy, this makes us all connected. We are all one. We are all God. 

     I know this may shock some of you, but it’s true. So, since we are all God, shouldn’t we be nicer to each other, and to ourselves?Doesn’t it seem ridiculous to go to war? Doesn’t it seem nonsensical to let people starve or be denied shelter? Shouldn’t we all be deserving of all good things? And of course we don’t all want the same things, so why fight over anything. 

     People talk about peace on earth, but they don’t realize that it really could be that way when we send out good vibes, and expect to get them back. That is why I call it the boomerang effect. 

     Now, my suggestion to all who are ready to feel good, and live the life you choose, is to practice putting out what you want , and watch what comes back. Only you can know what it is for yourself. And when we focus on our own happiness, we won’t feel like going to war, or hating anyone or anything. We will stop being the judge, and start being the joyful spirit that came to earth to find the true essence of peace on earth. 

     I truly believe that we could experience peace once we all start taking care of our own desires, and stop worrying about what anyone else is doing. So, as usual, I suggest that practice makes perfect. Or at least perfectly imperfect.

     So what are you waiting for? Go out there and throw some positive boomerangs and pay attention to what comes back. And remember, there is always great love here for you.

Three Rules to Live By

   I know this is going to sound a little redundant, but there is a good reason for it. I’ll explain shortly, after I tell you my secret to living happily ever after. So here goes…Rule #1- Have as much fun as possible.

            Rule #2- Have as much fun as possible.

             And if you forget rule #1 and rule #2-  Rule #3 is..Have as much fun as possible. 

   See, I told you it would sound redundant, but as the advertisers say, a person must see or hear an ad at least three times before it really sinks in. So by repeating these rules three times it is more likely to resonate with you. You see, by having fun you keep your vibration high, which in turn keeps you happier, healthier and more in love with life and in love with yourself. Life is supposed to be fun. If it were up to me I would make it a law. And fun doesn’t always have to be off the wall enthusiasm. Fun could be having a good conversation with someone, or playing a board game, or watching a good movie, preferably a comedy. But of course it could be riding a roller coaster or skydiving, it’s all up to you  how to have fun. The important thing is that you keep yourself as happy as possible. No matter what else is going on around you, you have the ability to find something to feel good about. There is always a silver lining to every situation. Heck, I even find joy in picking out a fun coffee mug every morning. I collect mugs as souvenirs. Some have feet, some have happy faces and some have sculls. It’s just my way of remembering all the fun I had on all my different vacations. You see how anything can bring joy into your day? I say day because every day is a new beginning. And now is all we have. And when you live in the now, there is no time to worry or fret about the past or the future. 

   I know this all sounds too easy or too frivolous, but in reality it’s the only way to live. As humans we tend to make things more difficult than is necessary. If we could all just chill and pay attention to our own happiness we would all be better off. When we put our noses into everyone else’s business it just serves to confuse and annoy us. When we pay attention to our own dreams and desires we find a clarity that shows us the best path to take for any endeavor. 

   As I wrote in another blog, life is a game, so aim to win. And as far as I’m concerned, when I’m happy, I am a winner. For me, life has been pretty miraculous. Have you ever heard of the Law of Attraction? Well, if not, you should really research it. Or listen to Abraham-Hicks podcasts. The Law of Attraction is exactly what it sounds like. Like attracts like, where focus goes energy flows, which means that whatever you focus on shows up in your experience. And that means when you think better thoughts you attract more better thoughts. But it also works in the opposite direction. If you are mad or sad or hateful that is what will show up in your experience. So you see it is all up to you to be happy or not. So as long as you are looking for things to make you happy, the more happiness will come. Why don’t you give it a shot for a week or two and see how things will morph into a life you can really enjoy. 

   So what is the gist of this blog? It is to look for reasons to feel good or at least better, until it becomes natural, and life becomes something you recognize as yours and only yours. And believe me, you are the only one that counts when it comes to your happiness. 

   So now go out there and be the example of sunshine I know you can be. And remember, there is always great love here for you.

Believe It, See It, Achieve It!

     In my experience, most people say, “ I’ll believe it when I see it.” But that’s backward. What it should say is, “ I’ll see it when I believe it.” And that’s when you can achieve it. People, you must have faith in yourself, and faith in the Universe. We are not here by accident. We came here on purpose for the pure pleasure of joy and expansion. And any time you are joyful the whole Universe is expanding. We are eternal beings and we are living in the now. Every moment is a new now. Even when you are thinking about the past or pondering the future, you are doing it now. So now is all there is, and if I were you I would make the most of every single minute of every single day. And the way to do that is to live in pure love. Or if that sounds too hard, try living in appreciation. When you see life through loving eyes you attract that from others. Life is supposed to be fun. There is nothing serious going on here. And only you know what makes you happy. You can’t live by anyone else’s standards or rules if you want to be who you really are. 

     Do you know that you can be, do or have anything you desire? Well you can and you must if you are going to live a happy life. And did you know that you have a whole cadre of spiritual beings surrounding you, that you can ask for help in any way you need, at any time you need it? Yes, you have a spiritual side of you that is always willing and ready to help you accomplish any wish you can conjure up in your mind. You can call it your inner being, because that is exactly what it is. Some call it your soul, some call it God, and I’m sure there are a lot of other names people call this invisible to the eye source. But, the fact of the matter is, no matter what you call it, it is always giving you what you focus on. Now, I didn’t say it always gives you what you want, I said it gives you what you focus on. So it goes both ways, if you focus on bad things, bad things keep coming. But when you train yourself to really focus on those things you really want, then those things can start coming. But you can’t say, “I’ll be happy when blah, blah comes, or when I become a millionaire or when my lover gets here.” No, you have to be happy NOW! Whatever you focus on the most is what your inner being sees and then says, “Oh, I see that you keep thinking about this, so here’s some more.” 

     Haven’t you ever noticed that the worse it gets the worse it gets? But when things are going great, and you are having a really good time, the better it gets, the better it gets. This is your guidance system that you were born with, helping you to know what direction your thoughts are headed. Yes, you have more control than you think. You must focus on the things you want though. And yes, you will notice bad things around the planet, but instead of feeling dread you can look for solutions. When many minds are focused on solutions, the problems can be solved, even if you are not the one solving it. Like I said, we have spiritual beings all around us, and they are more than willing to help their human counterparts. In fact this is how it works, you ask for something, that is your job, then the spirits go to work collecting all the components needed, that’s not your job, then your job is to allow whatever it is you asked for to come to you. This is an attraction based Universe, and you are a spiritual being having a human experience. 

     So are you ready to start living the life you choose? Are you ready to believe that you are worthy of having everything you desire? Are you willing to pay the price of happiness? I think you are. I believe that this is a new age for human kind, and that we are all on our own path, and that we will eventually see peace on earth because of this new way of thinking. So go forth and love everyone and everything as much as you can, and especially love yourself, because you are an important part of this Universe, we all are. Be the best you that you want to be. Leave everyone else out of the equation. You are your own boss, and that’s a good thing. 

     So for now, remember there is great love for you here.

If it Feels Good, Do It !

     I know everyone has heard the saying, “If it feels good, do it”, but are you taking it to heart? Well, you should. Life is relatively short, and we all deserve to be as joyful as possible. And how do you accomplish this, you ask? Well, it’s not as hard as you might think. The trick is to think good thoughts. I know that sounds too easy, but there you have it. The hard part is training your brain to focus on the good things in life, and ignoring the things that don’t please you. Like things that make you feel sad or angry or scared. All these negative feelings are just a waste of time. Negative emotions of any kind just drain you of your joy. Remember, where focus goes, energy flows. So, you need to practice being joyful in order to line up with your inner being, which is really the bigger part of you. Again, remember that you are a spiritual being having a human experience. In other words, you are a forever being. You will always exist in this Universe, whether you are in this body or some other one. You are energy, and energy cannot be created or destroyed. It just changes form. So, what do you want to change into in this life? Are you wanting a happy life or a miserable life? It really is up to you. Changing your perspective about things could help you live a happier life. For example, if you have had something go wrong, try finding the silver lining, and there is always a silver lining. 

     Here’s something that happened to me that seemed bad at the time, but it turned out pretty good. I was driving on the freeway in stop and go traffic. The guy behind me was really riding my butt. And a thought flashed through my mind very quickly, that if that guy hits me, I’ll hit the car in front of me and total my car. Well, about a minute later I did crash, and yes I totaled my car. No one was hurt, but we were all a little shook up. But during the two hour wait for the tow truck, I had time to think about how I had brought this to me. Partly because of that weird thought about crashing and partly because I had been wanting a new car. I had a particular one in mind that I had been looking up on line, and noticing them on the road. And now I could get that new car. When it looks like something has gone wrong, and it starts messing with your head, you need to take a step back, and stop struggling with why it happened, and see how the Universe has led you to exactly what you want. This is what is known as working in concert with your inner being. 

     Now, I’m going to say something that may seem a little screwy, but it’s true. You can, and should choose the way you want to feel. Oh, there will be times when something will get your goat. You may even feel vengeful, and that’s okay, feelings are meant to be felt. But, it’s best not to act on these feelings. Just feel them and let them run their course, then let them go. Like I said, there is always a silver lining, you just need to look for it. Remember, you are the boss of you. No one can insert anything into your experience, not without your permission. Once you get the hang of caring about how you feel, you will have less and less negative emotions about anything that comes your way. You will be truly free. 

     Listen, I’m not just giving lip service here. I really mean it when I say that it is our duty to have as much fun as possible in this lifetime. It is why we came to this planet. Your job is only to look for things that please you, and to enjoy each and every moment. Life on planet earth is fleeting, and we deserve to love ourselves and love one another unconditionally. Self-love is the beginning of a wonderful life. And it doesn’t matter where you have been or what you have done in your past, now is all that counts. Now is the best of times, and you are a truly worthy being. 

     So go out there and be the best you you can be. And the happiest you you can be. Your whole life will change for the better, I promise. Remember, there is always great love for you here.

What is Your Special Talent?

     Do you know that each and every one of us has a special talent that the world could not do without? I’m not kidding. The thing is that we are not taught this at an early age, so we just go through life trying this and doing that, but we still find no satisfaction. What we knew at birth is somehow taught out of us by well meaning people like parents, teachers, government and church. But if we would really think about what our special talent is, and we geared our thoughts toward doing whatever it is for ourselves, we could live much happier and fulfilled lives, which in turn is good for everyone. 

     You might not think that your special talent is something that could help the world, but as I have said in other blogs, God does not make spare parts. Every single one of us has a purpose in this life. It could be as simple as baking really great cookies, or as difficult as becoming a neurosurgeon. 

Whatever your special talent is, is wonderful and necessary. I feel that my special talent is writing blogs and books on self love and living much happier lives. I didn’t even start writing until I was in my early 50’s. I’ve been writing for around thirteen years now. And even though I’m not famous I am becoming known as the person to go to when you need help in finding your true self. And I’m not rich in the monetary sense yet, but I’m very wealthy in love and appreciation, and that is very good. I have no doubt that the money will come eventually. The secret to getting everything you desire is to keep yourself as happy as possible as often as possible. And the way to do that is to notice how you are feeling. And how you are feeling is how you are vibrating. And how you are vibrating is how everything is created. 

     Now, you’re probably wondering, “How do I know what I’m vibrating?” Well, that’s when we loop back to keeping ourselves happy. When we experience joy we can’t help but vibrate in concert with our inner knowing. Which is also a way of saying we are connecting to our inner being. Or you could say, “I am a spiritual being having a human experience.” 

     So how do you find your special talent? Well, you have to ask yourself what it is that floats your boat? What is it that makes you different? And are you allowing yourself to do whatever it is that makes you feel tuned in, tapped in and turned on? You know it’s all an inside job. You are the boss of you, and nothing can change that. You have every right to live a life of your choosing. No one can insert anything into your life without your permission. Everything that happens in your life, you have a part in. This is an attraction based Universe, and you draw to you whatever you focus on, good or bad. So you see, it is up to you to treat yourself kindly and allow yourself to be happy, no matter what else is going on around you. And you know what, it’s not going to happen overnight. It takes practice to keep vibrating on the upper scale. You will fall back occasionally and that’s a good thing. Every time you fall back you will ask in a stronger way for what you really want. Even if you are not using words you will be asking for improvement. Because we ask with our feelings as well as with our words. And those seemingly bad moments will come less and less, because feeling good is what will dominate. 

     One way to get up on your high flying disc is to meditate. A lot of people are not sure what meditation is, so I will explain. Meditation is a quieting of the mind. This is how you free up your mind so that good ideas can come into view. It is a way of aligning with your spiritual side, which is what we all want. This is the only way to live your authentic life. 

     Now here’s how to practice being happy and caring about how you feel. Start appreciating everything and everyone. Love for the sack of loving. See the positive in people, especially those that give you grief. They are your biggest assets when it comes to learning how to control your feelings. And once you can control your own happiness no matter what anyone else is doing or saying,you get it. In fact, it’s safe to say, it is none of your business what anyone else thinks about you. You have every right to feel good, worthy, appreciated, loved and perfectly imperfect. In fact you are never alone because you always have spiritual guidance and support. You only need to ask and trust that everything you ask for is always given. And all you have to do is let it come. And that’s what staying happy does.

     So what is your happiness? What is your special talent? Only you can know. So start enjoying more. Remember to smell the roses. See the beauty in the trees and the birds and the mountains and the sky and all the other wonderful people there are all around our planet. You are special and you are an important part of everything. So please love yourself and know that you are enough. And remember there is always great love for you here.

You Are Good Enough

     I don’t know how you grew up, but for me it was hell. There are five of us, me being the oldest, and we all got treated like we were a nuisance. Not from our mother, but a lot from our father. We just never knew when he would blow up. We were called animals and told we were good for nothing or that we would amount to nothing. And he didn’t only yell at us, he hit us too. When he called one of us into the house, we didn’t know if he would slap us in the back of the head or kick us in the butt as we walked past him. This treatment affected all of us in different ways. I became very stubborn and did everything my own way. I didn’t let his negative point of view penetrate my mind. If he said I couldn’t do something I had to prove him wrong. I knew what I wanted and I would go for it. As for the other four, they became drug addicts and alcoholics. They took his words as truth. It took them a long time to figure out how to maneuver their lives in a positive direction, but they are all doing well now that we are all in our 50’s and 60’s. I don’t think some parents understand how seriously their words are taken from their small children. 

     As we become adults it is our time to realize that parents are people too. They didn’t know what they were doing. They may have been treated that way so that was all they knew. And even if they weren’t treated that way, they were not taught that words can hurt sometimes worse than the hitting. Whatever the reason is, it is not right. 

     I’ll tell you what I believe is right. No, I know for sure it is right, and that is that YOU are good enough. YOU are a child of God. Not the vengeful God that some religions speak of, but the loving God that is always with you. The God that answers all your questions and fulfills all your desires. I don’t say the word God very often because it conjures up too many different things to too many different people. Some ideas are good and some are not, so I will use the word Universe from now on to clearly communicate my ideas. 

     I know I’ve said this in many of my blogs, but just in case this is your first time reading one of them, I will say it again. You are a spiritual being having a human experience. We are all spiritual energy and energy cannot be created or destroyed. We just keep transitioning from one energy being to another. So in essence we never die. Our essence will flow back into the Universe and if we choose to, we can come back to earth as someone else. Isn’t that lovely to know? Doesn’t that make you feel that you can do anything you choose to? On earth we seem like individual clumps of flesh. But on the other side we are all part of a big spiritual soup. But just because you are a human clump at this time, doesn’t mean you don’t have access to the spiritual realm. We all have what some call our guardian angels. We all have spiritual beings that we communicate with whether we know it or not. 

     So why should any of us be afraid to be who we want to be? Why should we doubt that we are special? Why should we care about what anyone else thinks of us? As Eleanor Roosevelt says, “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” And just because you haven’t figured out yet what it is you want, doesn’t mean you can’t do it now. We are where we are and that’s okay. It’s just our launching off point to start moving in the direction we desire. And only you know what feels right. Only you can know what happens for you. And the happier you are, the better life will be.

     This is what I am knowing at this time in my life, the happier I am, the more I feel love. And the more I feel love the better things work out. And the better things work out, the happier I become. It’s a catch 22 that’s really appealing. I am so grateful to know what I know. And I’m so happy to share it with you. Oh man, I hope you are getting this. I hope you are ready for a whole new you. Your life can be anything you want it to be. Give yourself permission to be, do or have anything you desire. Be satisfied with where you are and eager for more. When you truly appreciate what you have already, the Universe says, “ Oh, you like that, here’s some more.” No matter where you are in your life, know that you are enough. And be grateful. Then start paying attention to what manifests all around you. See yourself how you want to be, and soon you will morph into the new you. Be who pleases you, and only you. Then you will attract people and things that match who you are. Remember that this is an attraction based Universe and what you think about is what comes to you. So wouldn’t it be best to think positive thoughts to attract positive things? I think so. All I know is that my life is going really great and I’m going to continue to feel good no matter what else is going on around me. 

     Well, now you know my secret. And if you are ready and willing to be happy, you may want to practice good feelings and good thoughts more often. Yes, it’s that simple. You have the choice to feel good or feel bad. So, what will it be? Only you know. So until next time, remember there is always tremendous love for you here. And again, YOU are good enough!

You’ve Got to do It More than Once

     Have you ever tried to change a habit? It’s hard sometimes. It’s like you get a few days in and you slip, and you do whatever it is you are trying not to do. Then you feel like a failure, and you stop trying for a while. But you truly want to change this habit, so you start again. This time you last a little longer, but again you slip up. But you know what? That’s okay. Yes, when you’re trying to change a habit it takes time and practice. You have to keep trying because you have been so used to doing whatever it is you’re doing that you have a momentum that pulls stronger in that direction. There will be a point, I’ll call it the tipping point, when your momentum will flow in the direction you are wanting. And yes, you may slip again, but this time it won’t bother you as much and you’ll get back on the horse, so to speak, a lot faster. And before you know it you will have changed to a new habit that you truly desire. 

     One habit that I have changed in my life is self-doubt, fear, insecurity, unkind thoughts about my body, and all other negative thoughts, which are all the samething. Over the years, I have learned to love myself and all others. It took a lot of practice, but it has helped me to slow down and take things easier, and to be more joyful every day. If you really think about it, there are only two emotions, joy and every negative emotion. We all have a choice to feel the way we want to feel. And I choose joy. It took me a while to do this on purpose, but now I feel good most of the time, no matter what is going on around me. I have fun no matter what I am doing or who I am doing it with. And I am truly enjoying the journey I am on. Once you can do this you will see how beneficial it is to keep yourself happy. You’ll also notice that things flow effortlessly, and your timing will be right on. And when you start feeling good on purpose, that’s when you pay attention to what is manifesting around you. You will see the correlation of what you have been thinking about and how you’ve been feeling and what has been showing up in your life. It’s a little tricky at first, but as you keep purposefully finding ways to be happy, you will get so good at it you’ll just do it automatically. 

     So now you know that whatever it is you want to change, you have to try more than once. But it is truly up to you how long it takes to get there. Just keep loving and finding joy. That is the real secret to a wonderful life. Now go out there and be the best you. And always remember there is great love here for you.

Real Love Doesn’t Judge

     Since I started this positive bombardment on myself, I have had quite a journey. I realize now how the baby steps come together, as I continuously find new ways to keep myself happy. It’s breaking an old habit and creating a new and improved habit. It’s sort of like trying to quit smoking. You are so used to smoking at certain times of the day, so when you start the quitting process it feels like a struggle, until you get a momentum going, or you vibrate at a higher frequency, or to say it more concisely, your habit starts to tip in a new direction that feels better to you. I have found that the more I love, not romantic love, the freer I feel. I find more things to be joyful about. And I feel more, easy going. And best of all I have learned not to judge anyone else for the choices they make. This is probably one of the hardest things to change. Even if someone doesn’t think it’s bad to interject their ideals on others, it is. You don’t have to agree with others’ ideals, but you shouldn’t voice your opinion or even think about it. You must let everyone believe their own way. But if you want to influence anyone to live a powerfully positive life, show them by example. This is actually where I am on my journey, and I LOVE IT.

     I have seen what feeling my way through life is really like. And by feeling, I mean caring about how I feel. When a person is busy caring about how everyone else runs their life, it feels hard. But when we concentrate on our own feelings, we become very joyful people. And that is when other people want to know what you are doing differently, and you can say, I stopped struggling and started finding things that truly make me happy. I don’t worry or stress or hate or judge. I’m living MY authentic life. And they may follow your lead, or they may just think you’re a nut. But either way, it’s their choice. Everything is a choice. Miserable people choose to be that way. When a person creates their own misery, they must own it. Remind yourself that you are making a choice. When a person realizes that this emotion is truly a choice, maybe they will decide to make a new one. At first it will seem hard because you have been miserable for a while. But if you keep reminding yourself that you are trying a new tactic, you will eventually become a happy person. And then you can own the new you, the joyful you. You are the only one that can change your world.

     To me, hate is just a fear of love. This has to be one of the most miserable feelings there is. I’m not saying that we choose misery on purpose. Maybe you were raised to hate by people that were raised to hate, and so on and so on. But it is so much harder to feel that way than it is to feel love. Once you realize that you have the right to feel any way you want to, you can start to feel good, then great, then fantastic. Life is supposed to be good for everyone. I know I say that a lot, but it’s true. But again, it’s up to you. For me, I choose happiness. And the happier I am, the more, good things come my way. I love my life, and I’m so happy to be me. And that is my wish for all people, young and old, to find their joy. Everyone needs help sometimes. I hope this blog has at least helped you a little.
